Practice Lab Experience

Practice lab experience serves as a bridge between the classroom and the clinical setting. In a simulated environment, you’ll be able to practice and refine your practical nursing skills. This experience allows you to become comfortable with various medical equipment, perform procedures, and practice patientcare techniques before working directly with patients in a clinical setting.

Practice labs are a safe and controlled environment where you can make mistakes, ask questions, and build confidence inproviding quality care. This component of your education is invaluable for ensuring that you’re well-prepared for the challenges and responsibilities of nursing care.

Clinical Experience

Clinical experience is where theory meets real-world practice. It’s the hands-on component of your practical nursing education, where you’ll work directly with patients under the guidance of experienced nursing instructors. During clinical, you’ll apply the knowledge gained in the classroom to actual patient care scenarios, providing direct care.

This is where you develop essential clinical practice, hone your critical thinking abilities, and learn to provide patient-centered care in various health care facilities, such as hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. Clinical experience is a pivotal part ofyour education as it prepares you for the realities of patient care and helps you develop the practical skills needed.
